GASTROGARD® (omeprazole)

Just Because You Can’t See Stress, Doesn’t Mean It’s Not There

Any horse can develop equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS), and the leading risk factors are episodic feeding practices and stress. Horses with EGUS may show subtle changes in behavior or more obvious clinical signs, such as poor performance, weight loss and decreased appetite. And EGUS doesn’t just affect your horse’s quality of life, it can impact your ability to enjoy your relationship with them. If gastric ulcers are diagnosed, GASTROGARD paste has been trusted by veterinarians and horse owners like you to help treat and heal ulcers.

If you suspect ulcers, talk to your veterinarian about scheduling a gastroscopy exam.

Top Reasons to Choose GASTROGARD

GASTROGARD effectively strikes back against EGUS, to enable you and your horse to get back to enjoying the time you spend together. If gastric ulcers are diagnosed, ask your veterinarian if a GASTROGARD prescription is right for your horse.
