Managing Joint Pain

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the progressive deterioration of the joint, also referred to as degenerative joint disease (DJD). It is a common condition, and can occur in all types and ages of horses. With OA, your horse may show heat or swelling of the joint, stiffness, decreased mobility or lameness.

You can help manage the joint pain and inflammation associated with OA using EQUIOXX tablets, a market-leading treatment proven to deliver pain relief with just once daily dosing.1 Talk to your veterinarian to find out if EQUIOXX tablets are right for your horse.

Powerful Where Needed, Gentle Where It Counts

EQUIOXX is designed to relieve pain and inflammation in your horse—with less interference with important functions like blood clotting, gastrointestinal and kidney health. Unlike non-selective pain relievers like phenylbutazone, which block both helpful and harmful pathways, EQUIOXX focuses on the ones that cause discomfort, helping reduce the risk of side effects. This means that EQUIOXX has a decreased potential for risks commonly associated with selective NSAIDs like phenylbutazone.*3,4
